PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for metal deformation and an emulsion, which do not generate particles of metallic soap that is problematic in the case of a fatty acid emulsion as known in metal deformation processes and which contain a phosphonic acid ester. SOLUTION: The composition and the emulsion are produced by mixing a phosphonic acid ester, lubricative esters, an emulsifier, a dispersing agent, an oxidation inhibitor, a corrosion inhibitor, an alkaline compound, and a solubilization carrier.
