PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce the number of transmission signal lines to transfer image data and control data in data transfer of an internal device of an image forming device. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, the output interface (I/F) section 260 of an image processing device 200 adds the control data described in K codes used in 8B/10B coding to the image data and converts transfer data including the image data and the control data to serial data by 8B/10B coding and outputs the serial data. Exposure equipment 300 receives and decodes the transfer data output from the output interface (I/F) section 260, extracts the image data and the control data and operates in accordance with the control data, and forms images from the image data.
