PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for searching a receivable broadcast station with no sophisticated software design. SOLUTION: A receiver 1 comprises at least two or more tuners 10 and 20 for receiving radio broadcasting. At least the two or more tuners 10 and 20 are divided into a first tuner group (10 and 6) and a second tuner group (20 and 6). The first tuner group (10 and 6) comprises a first searching means for searching a frequency to be searched, a receivable/unreceivable discriminating means for discriminating whether broadcast stations at respective frequencies can be received, and a describing means for describing a receivable frequency on a reception frequency list. The second tuner group (20 and 6) comprises a second searching means for searching a frequency present in the reception frequency list, and a first broadcast station data receiving means for receiving broadcast station data based on a frequency acquired by the search.
