PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor that composes unit capacitors by commonalizing capacitor elements and cases, is capable of obtaining desired capacitor capacity by connecting a plurality of unit capacitors, improves productivity, and can be manufactured at low costs. SOLUTION: The capacitor comprises: a unit capacitor 21 for storing, in a case 1, a capacitor element 11 forming metallicon electrodes 12, 12 on both the ends; a connection member 4 for connecting the cases 1, 1 of a plurality of unit capacitors 21, 21; and a common terminal 6 connected to the metallicon electrodes 12, 12 in the plurality of capacitor elements 11, 11 over connected case sidewalls 3a, 3a.
