PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which suppresses resistance increase in a lower part of a rolled electrode body by appropriately discharging a surplus nonaqueous electrolyte to the outside of the electrode body.SOLUTION: A flat type rolled electrode body (20) included in the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a planar part (P) which is a central portion of an electrode body cross section in a length direction orthogonal to a rolling axis and in which a surface of the electrode body is flat; a first R part (R) and a second R part (R) which are both end portions of the electrode body cross section in the length direction orthogonal to the rolling axis and in which the electrode body surface is curbed. The second R part is disposed closer to a bottom face of a battery case (10) when injecting the nonaqueous electrolyte into the battery case at least in a battery construction process, and both end portions (27 in the second R part in a rolling axis direction are wrenched in an electrode body thickness direction rather than both end portions of the first R part in the rolling axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
