PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a control board that can be used even when the type of a detachable memory, in which performance data and the like are stored, changes.SOLUTION: A game machine comprises: a first board having performance control means capable of executing processing related to a predetermined performance mode, and a first terminal group including a plurality of connection terminals electrically connected to the performance control means; and a second board which has storage means and a second terminal group including a plurality of connection terminals electrically connected to the storage means and a predetermined connection terminal to which a signal with an amplitude value corresponding to the type of the storage means is applied, can be attached to and detached from the first board, and in which the second terminal group is electrically connected to the first terminal group when the second board is connected to the first board. A communication mode of information between the performance control means and the storage means is set to a communication mode corresponding to the type of the storage means in accordance with the amplitude value of the signal applied to a predetermined connection terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
