摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel economy of a vehicle driven by a motor.SOLUTION: A vehicle driven by a motor comprises: a secondary battery that supplies electric power to the motor; a power regeneration unit that supplies regenerative electric power recovered during braking of the vehicle to the secondary battery; a state-of-charge detection unit that detects a state of charge of the secondary battery; and a control unit controlling charging and discharging of the secondary battery, the control unit estimates the regenerative electric power obtained by the vehicle, estimates an expected state-of-charge increment corresponding to an increment of the state of charge when the estimated regenerative electric power is supplied to the secondary battery, calculates a virtual state of charge from a sum of an actual state of charge detected by the state-of-charge detection unit and the estimated expected state-of-charge increment, and charges or discharges the secondary battery on the basis of the virtual state of charge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
