The present invention relates to a light guide unit and a lamp apparatus for a vehicle having the same. The light guide unit comprises: an incident surface where a light is incident; an exit surface where the incident light is output; and a guide unit for guiding the light incident through the incident surface to the exit surface by connecting the incident surface and the exit surface. The incident surface is formed as an oval having major and minor axes. The exit surface is formed as a circle having a diameter corresponding to the length of the minor axis of the incident surface. |
