The present invention relates to a shifting device, and a shifting method thereof. The shifting device comprises: a shifting lever generating a shifting gear order; and a shift control unit generating a shifting logic signal in accordance with the shifting lever to shift a gear to a desired first shift gear. The shift control unit shifts the gear to another closes shift gear and shifts the gear to the desired first shift gear when shifting is failed, thereby reducing a shifting process of a vehicle and reducing a delay of shifting time. |
