摘要 The present application relates to a vertical switching method used in visible light communication heterogeneous networking. The method comprises: after a system is operating, a mobile terminal receiving data over a VLC channel; a system detecting whether interruption has occurred to the received data in real time; when interruption occurs, triggering a vertical switching decision process; the system conducting prediction on correlation parameters of the current interruption according to previously repeated interruption conditions, comparing two algorithms, i.e. an IVHO algorithm and a DVHO algorithm, in terms of performance by taking a prediction value of a message transmission time delay during the current interruption calculated according to these parameters as a standard; executing the algorithm with superior performance of the two algorithms, i.e. the IVHO algorithm and the DVHO algorithm, to switch to a cellular network, and after current packet transmission is performed, detecting whether a VLC connection has been recovered; and if the VLC connection has not been recovered, continuously transmitting the received data in the cellular network. The present application guarantees service continuity, and improves the QoS, at the same time as enabling service requests in the whole system to be homogenized, and continuously improves algorithms, thereby having great significance on the improvement of the performance of a visible light communication network system.
