PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fretting fatigue evaluation method which allows evaluation accuracy to be maintained and evaluation to be efficiently performed.SOLUTION: The fretting fatigue evaluation method includes a model generation step S1 for generating a contract member model by dividing a region of an evaluation object member including a contract surface into a plurality of elements in a status in which a contract member touches the contact surface of the evaluation object member and a stress distribution estimation step S2 for estimating a stress distribution. The stress distribution estimation step S2 has an analysis point acquisition step S21 for acquiring, at each of a plurality of different depth positions, an analysis point which is a pair of a depth position in the inner direction from the contract surface of the evaluation object member and a stress value at the depth position, by analyzing the contract member model, a representative analysis point selection step S22 for selecting a prescribed number of analysis points from analysis points in each of which the depth position is a prescribed value or higher as representative analysis points, and a stress distribution determination step S23 for determining a stress distribution for a depth position acquired on the basis of the representative analysis points as a stress distribution in the inner direction from the contact surface of the evaluation object member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
