<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the high wind noise reduction effect while suppressing generation of distortion. <P>SOLUTION: An input sound signal is separated into low, middle, high bands. A wind noise reduction device comprises: a wind noise judgement unit (11) for judging the degree of effect of wind noise from a low band component of the input sound signal; a signal restoration unit (12) which generates a low-band restored signal from a middle band component of the input sound signal and generates a corrected sound signal for low band by weighting and adding the restored signal and an original low band signal in accordance with a judgement result of the wind noise judgement unit; a signal reduction unit (13) for generating a corrected sound signal for the middle band by reducing a signal level of the middle band component of the input sound signal in accordance with the judgement result of the wind noise judgement unit; and a signal combination unit 15 for combining the corrected sound signals for the low band and the middle band and an original high band signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
