PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition excellent in oxidation stability, in which increase of an acid value and kinetic viscosity due to long-term use can be suppressed, and adverse effect due to increase of oxidation degradation such as increase of sludge amount and adhesion of the sludge to a device, a filter or the like can be suppressed, and to provide a method of producing the lubricating oil composition.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: There is provided the lubricating oil composition containing a sulfur based antioxidant (A) and an amine-based antioxidant (B) as well as a base oil and satisfying following requirements (I) and (II). Requirement (I):total content of a sulfur atom and a nitrogen atom is 0.010 to 0.600 mass% based on total mass of the lubricating oil composition.
