PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knot formation device which can form a knot with a simple operation automatically.SOLUTION: By motions of first movement members 48a, 48b and first and second needle switch mechanisms 24a, 24b, a loop of a thread-shaped member (knotting object) L held by a second arm 14b i.e., a first loop holding member and a first position held by a first holding member of the first needle switch mechanism 24a are moved relatively and a positional relationship between the loop along a first route and a first position is replaced. A knot forming a closed loop between a second position and a third position of the thread-shaped member L can be automatically created. After the creation of the knot, two positions on both sides sandwiching the knot in the thread-shaped member L are held by a first arm 14a and the second arm 14b in a separate manner, thereby the knot can be tightened at an angle close to 180 degrees by pulling a fourth position side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
