PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article enabling a user to recognize that there is no risk to the user in an appearance and to feel secure, without releasing joint between joint members and a diaper body while worn.SOLUTION: A border line 31c between a base end part 31c and a free part 32 is inclined from a crotch area 13 to a waist opening 16 inward from outside of a horizontal direction X, and the base end part 31 has a border side joint area 70 extending along the border line 31c. The border side joint area 70 has an outer end part 73 positioned on the side of the waist opening 16 side and an inner end part 74 positioned on the side of the crotch area 13.
