PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can achieve search evaluation processing including a subject tracking function of good processing efficiency, while suppressing increase in circuit scale.SOLUTION: An imaging device has a plurality of correlation processing units 303A-303D performing correlation processing related to search evaluation processing in parallel, a plurality of search frame processing units 302A-302D for cutting out partial images being inputted to the plurality of correlation processing units from an inputted image, according to a specified processing frame, and a search frame determination unit for determining the arrangement of the processing frames in the vertical direction, based on the number of correlation processing units and the size of the processing frame in the vertical direction. Search evaluation processing of good processing efficiency is carried out while suppressing increase in the circuit scale, by determining the arrangement of the processing frames in the vertical direction so that the product of the interval of the processing frames in the vertical direction and the number of the correlation processing units goes above the size of the processing frames in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
