<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initialization method and an initialization device of a fuel cell stack wherein an interface of an anode catalyst can be formed efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: In order to initialize the fuel cell stack 10 in which a plurality of unit cells having an anode and a cathode arranged interposing an electrolyte are laminated, a fuel gas is introduced in the cathode and an oxidant gas is introduced in the anode to generate power at a prescribed current value. Thereby, the electric current flows in a reverse direction to an ordinary power generation, and reaction generated water is generated in the anode, thus the interface of the anode catalyst can be formed efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
