Set of points with local electrical control

A control system which is not safety-relevant and has a single-channel microprocessor control and monitoring of the points drive as well as a reliable evaluation and locking system component is proposed for a design, which does not use relays and is reliable in terms of signalling technology, using microprocessors for controlling sets of points with local electrical control. The counting stage of the microprocessor is assigned an additional autarkical counting stage. Both counting devices are connected to stationary axle-counting pulse transmitters in which three legs of points are arranged and count upwards and downwards. The occupied state of the points is evaluated using two channels. Deviations of the counting states of the counting devices switch off the power supply to the points drive. <IMAGE>
