<p>A method for treating a myopic eye or eye with other refractive errors is provided. The method includes forming a circular cut in the anterial lamina (12) of the cornea (10), forming a pocket (22) in the lamella beneath the weakened anterial lamina (12), and inserting an intrastromal lens (28) within the pocket (22) to alter the radius of curvature of the anterial lamina. Devices (14, 20) for weakening the anterial lamina and for forming the pocket within the lamella are also disclosed.</p> |
