<p>The handlebar stem comprises a shank (1) and a front extension (2) which extends at an angle relative to the shank (1) and comprises means for mounting the handlebar. Extending through the front extension and the shank is a bolt (8) by means of which the front extension can be fixed relative to the shank and the shank can be fixed relative to the means to be steered.
