METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING LOAD OF NECESSARY MATERIAL AMOUNT CALCULATION

PURPOSE: To determine the distribution of load capable of shortening the processing time of the necessary material amount calculation in parallel in a short time. CONSTITUTION: An MPS read part 1 reads in a production schedule and allocates respective items in it to respective calculation parts 2. Each calculation part 2 confirms child items of the allocated item and enters them into its own arrangement table 5. Child items which are shared with other items are not entered into the table 5 and information regarding the child item is sent to a shared item arrangement part 3. After information regarding child items is received from all the calculation parts 2, the shared item arrangement part 3 determines a calculation part 2 where those shared items are arranged. This determination is performed so that (1) items sending and receiving data are arranged on the same computer and (2) the total load is level. Once the determination is done, the calculation parts 2 enters shared items in their own arrangement tables 5.
