The signal coupling device has an amplifier (V) and a pair of couplers (K1,K2) positioned in front and behind the amplifier in the transmission direction. The amplifier is applicable to more than two transmission channels (n,o) with different wavelength ranges. The first coupler is located in front of the amplifier, and is used for processing the signals from the first transmission channel. The second coupler (K2) is located after the amplifier, and is used for coupling the amplifier signals via a second transmission channel.
