Distortion reduction method for pixel image

The distortion reduction method uses evaluation of distortion characters during recording of the image, e.g. via a video camera, for entering corresponding correction coefficients in a memory (5), from which they are read out during reproduction of the image, held in an image memory (3), via a pixel display. The image memory may be coupled to the image reproduction unit (9) via a video processing module (7) receiving the stored distortion correction coefficients, for corresponding modification of the image data.
