Load-bed or container for goods

The holder is used for road-rail transport of goods e.g. in containers or loose in a lorry load-bed. The load-bed may have fixed or removable sidewalls (4). The transporter has a frame (1) to which support legs (12) may be attached to the underside of the frame at one end. The legs have feet which rest on the ground and their upper ends are hinged (11) to the frame. There is an actuator or side arm (13) set at an angle between a hinge point on the leg and a hinge point (14) on a bracket (15) on the frame. There is a sight hole (18) in the leg which lines up with a sight hole (8) in the frame when the leg is retracted. There is a reinforced part (10) of the frame and a bearing area (9) on the reinforced part which engages the supports on the lorry or railway wagon.
