Windshield arrangement for open vehicle

The windshield(4) is mounted to move between an initial position lowered into a holder section and an upright working position in fan form in a vertical plane orientated at right angles to the vehicle's longitudinal direction. The windshield in its upright position is in semi-circul ar form and has a means of support to keep it positioned free-standing and upright. Support is provided by rods which brace the fan-form segments of a flexible air penetrable surface.
