Door filler for insertion in casement frame of door

The filler has a filler core (14) and a large surface cover layer (12) attached to the core to project over the casement frame (10) for fixing on it. Several mutually operating adjustment wedges (16,18) are provided between the inner circumference of the casement frame and the outer circumference of the core. These adjustment wedges can position the entire filler element in the frame adjustable against forces in the plane of the door. The adjustment wedges are provided in pairs guided in each other at six spots along the circumference of the core each spaced from each other to act on the end faces. The core can have an inlaid aluminium insert (42) screwed to the inner edge of the casement frame.
