PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a forming member of a developer layer which can stably improve and maintain the electrification amount of a developer by forming an electrification controlling layer consisting of a resin prepared by hardening an alcohol-soluble polyamide compound with a melamine compound on at least the contact part of the surface of the forming member for a developer layer with the surface of a developer carrying body. SOLUTION: The forming member of a developer layer has an electrification controlling layer 2a to 2c consisting of a resin prepared by hardening a mixture of an alcohol- soluble polyamide compound and a melamine compound on at least the contact part of the surface of the forming member of a developer layer with the surface of a developer carrying body. As for the forming member of a developer layer, for example, the following members are used. They are produced by forming the electrification controlling layer 2a on at least the surface of the supporting member 1a made of a metal or a resin to be in contact with a developer carrying body, or by forming an elastic layer 3b between the electrification controlling layer 2b and the supporting body 1b, or by forming an elastic layer 3c between the supporting member 1c and the electrification controlling layer 2c. Thereby, melt-sticking of a developer on the surface of the forming member of a developer layer can be prevented. |
