PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a circuit configuration and reduce power consumption in a load driving circuit for performing a voltage boosting operation. SOLUTION: The load driving circuit has a discharging side transistor connected to a first power source and supplying a current to the load; an intake side transistor to be supplied with the current from the load; and a switching transistor for performing a switching operation to allow the intake side transistor to perform an intermittent operation on the basis of a pulse signal of a predetermined frequency. The circuit causes the discharging side transistor to operate on the basis of a boosting voltage higher than the voltage of the first power source to be output from the voltage boosting circuit.
