PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the dehydrator of a compact wash-free granular grain manufacturing apparatus capable of achieving the enhancement of turbidity so as to be opposed to the revision of a turbidity standard. SOLUTION: This wash-free rice manufacturing apparatus is constituted by successively arranging a cleaned rice supply part, a rice washing part, a rinsing and dehydrating part 30 and a drying part in a vertical direction from above. The rinsing and dehydrating part 30 is equipped with a dehydration screw 32 having an axis in a vertical direction to feed cleaned rice upward and a dehydration basket 33 for performing drainage and constituted so as to supply new fresh water from a fresh water supply pipe 37 to rinse cleaned rice when cleaned rice is fed by the dehydration screw 32. The dehydration screw 32 is driven by a main drive motor 43 through a screw drive shaft 42 and the dehydration basket 33 is driven by the main drive motor 43 through a dehydration basket drive shaft.
