<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of designing a dental prosthesis using a computer by forming the dental prosthesis to be mounted in a cavity or crown over an abutment tooth in such a constitution as to surely fix into the cavity or to the abutment tooth, and to provide a production method of the dental prosthesis designed by the same design method with an apparatus using a CAD/CAM system and a CAD system. <P>SOLUTION: This dental prosthesis is so constituted as to secure cement spaces C on the whole faces opposed to the cavity or the abutment tooth other than a plurality of projection parts P to be abutted on the cavity or the abutment tooth and a margin line adjacency site as necessary. For designing this dental prosthesis to be crowned over the abutment tooth by the computer, the plurality of projection parts P to be abutted on the abutment tooth and the margin line adjacency site as necessary are provided based on three-dimensional measurement data obtained by measuring a plaster model produced based on an impression sampled from a patient's oral cavity and the cement spaces C are defined on the whole surfaces opposed to the cavity or the abutment tooth other than the abutment sites. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
