A guide device using air bearings is provided to obtain support force against the heavy load, to support the load of the plate, and to prevent the center of the plate from being lowered by installing a supporting and guiding air bearing at the center part of the plate. A guide device using air bearings comprises a plate(120), a plurality of supporting air bearings(180), a stone surface plate, a guiding air bearing(160), and a supporting and guiding air bearing(170). The supporting air bearings support the plate. The stone surface plate is installed with a rail part(110) including a horizontal surface, a vertical surface(112), and an inclined surface(114). The guiding air bearing is installed at the lower part of the plate to be closely contacted with the vertical surface of the stone surface plate. The supporting and guiding air bearing is mounted at the lower part of the plate to be closely contacted with the inclined surface of the supporting and guiding air bearing. The supporting and guiding air bearing is mounted to brackets(162,174) through shafts(182), and installed with an adjusting unit for adjusting a gap between the supporting and guiding air bearing and the inclined surface.
