PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of, especially, a diaphragm for a thin type speaker, and a manufacturing apparatus used therefor. SOLUTION: The diaphragm 13 including a vibration surface and a fitting portion for a voice coil 14 is formed through: a first step wherein a frame body 13a having a constant width is coated with an adhesive 28 and a sheet material 21 is placed thereupon; and a second step wherein the sheet material 21 is stuck on the frame body 13a by pressing and heating the frame body 13a while pinching the frame body 13a with a pair of metal molds having recessed and projection parts 27 and 24 that are engaged with each other, and the sheet material is molded with the recessed and projection portions 27 and 24.
