PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper capable of forming a large space between a skin contact sheet and a top sheet, being excellent in the holding capacity of feces, and bringing the skin contact sheet into close contact with the skin of a wearer even when the skin contact sheet is arranged so as to cover only an area on the back section side of the top sheet. SOLUTION: In the disposable diaper 1, a pair of skin contact sheet support walls 26a and 26b which can be three-dimensionally erected are attached to the surface of the top sheet 18, the skin contact sheet 24 is arranged such that the front end part is positioned above the crotch part 4 of the top sheet 18 and the rear end part is positioned above the back section 6 of the top sheet 18, is fixed so as to bridge the pair of skin contact sheet support walls 26a and 26b, and covers at least a part of the area of the crotch part 4 and the area of the back section 6 of the top sheet 18.
