PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and intensively compose the vertical operation system for the leveling machine and the operation means for the driving operation, in a transplanter equipped with a device for leveling surfaces of cultivated fields in front of the planting device that is freely liftably linked to the rear of the traveling machine. SOLUTION: In this transplanter, the vertical motion operation of the leveling device 31 between the working position and the non-working position and the on-off operation of the clutch 69 transmitting the motive power separated from the traveling transmission of the traveling machine 4 to the leveling deice 31 are constituted compactly and inexpensively so that they may be connected operatively with only single operation lever, by the use of the lifting and lowering lever 37 of the leveling device 31 provided on the planting device 9 side.
