Provided is a polycarbonate resin having excellent heat resistance, transparency, light resistance, weathering resistance and mechanical strength. The present invention relates to a polycarbonate resin that contains a structure represented by formula (1) in the molecule. (X in formula (1) has a structure represented by any one of formulae (2) to (4). In formulae (2) to (4), R1 to R4 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an organic group having 1-30 carbon atoms.
