Disclosed are a user authentication method using a user apparatus, and a digital system and an authentication system therefor. The user authentication method using a user apparatus according the present invention comprises the following steps: a digital system receives a server generation key from an authentication system; and the digital system transmits the server generation key to the user apparatus via communications with the user apparatus and receives authentication information generated by the user apparatus based on the transmitted server generation key, or the digital system generates authentication information based on the server generation key if the communication is performed. The server generation key includes time information of the authentication system. Therefore, a user is highly likely to carry the digital system according to the present invention and easily perform user authentication.
