DIALOGUE SYSTEM AND DIALOGUE METHOD

The present invention relates to a dialogue system and a method for the same, which enable a user to perform operation in a fixed posture. The dialogue system may comprise: a voice recognizer which receives a voice signal, and recognizes a first natural language from the voice signal; a speech intention detection module which acquires speech intention of a user from the first natural language; a visual information extraction module which extracts visual information from an image acquired by a camera; a first database which stores a smart mirror model, including a query statement adapted to extract external application database selection information based on the speech intention of the user and response information based on the user speech intention and the visual information; a smart mirror controller which, based on the smart mirror model, selects an external application database corresponding to the speech intention of the user, and extracts the response information corresponding to the speech intention of the user and the visual information from the external application database selected based on the speech intention of the user; and a display which outputs the image and a response image corresponding to the response information with the response image overlapping the image.
