The present invention relates to a biological growth plate scanner which can simplify the inner mechanical structure of a biological growth plate; and to a method for scanning a biological growth plate. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a biological growth plate scanner in order to scan a biological growth plate. The biological growth plate scanner comprises: a scanning unit obtaining the image of a biological growth plate injected thereinto; and a conveyor which receives the biological growth plate from one side thereof, transfers the biological growth plate to the other side, and releases the biological growth plate from the other side after a scanning process of the biological growth plate. The biological growth plate is scanned by the scanning unit in a state of being put on the conveyor while being transferred from one side of the conveyor to the other side.
