PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die, an apparatus for manufacturing an insulated wire, and a method for manufacturing an insulated wire which are capable of reducing variation in thickness of an insulating coating applied to a conductor.SOLUTION: A die 10 comprises a body part 1 and a projection part 2. The body part 1 has one end face 3 and the other end face 4 facing each other and has a through hole 5 penetrating between the one end face 3 and the other end face 4.
