PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drive mechanism capable of achieving a spectroscopic element drive mechanism combining a high wavelength travel speed and a high wave resolution.SOLUTION: A rotary drive mechanism 1 includes: a stepping motor 11, namely a rotary drive source; an update information setting part 12 for setting update information corresponding to the amount of change for rotating the motor 11 at the drive timing each time when a pulse signal is input from the outside; a position information update part 13 for holding position information for determining a rotary position of the motor 11 and updating the position information based on update information from the update information setting part 12; a coil excited state determination part 14 for determining the amount of current allowed to flow to each coil of the motor 11 or a current ratio, based on position information after update sent from the position information update part 13; and a drive control part 15 for controlling current allowed to flow to each coil to achieve an excited state of each coil determined by the coil excited state determination part 14, based on a control signal from the coil excited state determination part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
