PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by using a relatively inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: An electric compressor includes: a closed container 4 that accommodates therein an electric motor and a compression mechanism portion driven by the electric motor; an accumulator 5; and a joining member 6 used for joining the closed container and the accumulator to each other. The joining member includes: a container side joining portion 63 joined to the closed container; and an accumulator side joining portion 64 joined to the accumulator. The accumulator side joining portion is shaped to have a notch portion 65 formed from an edge portion toward an inner portion, and is fixed to the accumulator by welding at least at the notch portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B |
