PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen type input device having high input accuracy without damaging the surface of a touch panel regardless of its thin pen shaft.SOLUTION: A base end side of a metallic pen core 2 is held with a conductive holding material 3, and a pen shaft 4 made of a hollow conductive cylindrical member is fixed to the holding material 3 while covering the holding material 3. A tip of the pen core 2 protruding from the holding material 3 is covered with a pen tip protective member 5 made of a conductive member having lower hardness than that of metal, and the pen core 2 between the pen tip protective member 5 and the tip of the pen shaft 4 is covered with a pen tip reinforcement material 6 made of an insulating material. A stopper part is provided to prevent fall-off of the pen tip protective member 5 formed at the tip of the pen core 2. |
