A tamper-evident closure (10) is provided and comprises a body (12) and a separate plug member (20). The body has a sidewall including screw thread formations for screwing the closure onto a screw threaded container neck and the plug member is locatable on the neck to seal it. The closure comprises a tamper-evident member (5) at least part of which is movable from a first position to a second position when the closure is unscrewed from the neck for the first time and, in use, when the body is unscrewed the body moves axially with respect to the plug member to cause the tamper-evident member to move from the first to the second position. |
