CATALYST PRECURSOR OF FUEL CELL, CATALYST OF FUEL CELL, AND THEIR MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide catalyst of a fuel cell with high catalyst efficiency, formed of metal-carrying carbon fine particles in a simple manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The first invention of the specifications is a precursor adsorbing an organic metal compound into conductive carbon fine particles in a solution. The second invention is the catalyst of a fuel cell created with air-scattered thermolysis by heating the precursor, and the precursor has a structure wherein metal fine particles are carried by the carbon fine particles. The third invention is the manufacturing method for the precursor and the catalyst. Catalyst efficiency of the catalyst is high since the carried metal fine particle has an extremely small particle diameter, and the catalyst of a fuel cell with easy manufacturing method is provided.
