<p>The device for decoding high-definition television programmes is provided in order to process samples distributed in accordance with at least two spatially and/or temporally non-superimposable analysis structures, the image being divided into sample blocks which can be distributed in accordance with different structures. It comprises, at least for the luminance samples, means (MEMT1, MEMT2, MEMT3) of storing three successive transmission frames, making it possible to have available four transmission frames (tr1, tr2, tr3, tr4); means of conversion (CSE1) for providing each of the sample blocks of the image in sub-sampled form in each of the analysis structures (S1, S2, S3) of the source image; first interpolation means (30) for reconstructing by interpolation the high-definition frames of the blocks represented according to a structure having no injectivity with the other structure or the other structures; second interpolation means (32, 34) for reconstructing by interpolation the blocks processed according to the other structure, or the other structures which exhibit a mutual injectivity. <IMAGE></p> |
