<p>PURPOSE:To surely prevent data from being erased by allowing the ejection of a battery case only when a RAM card is backed up by a power supply in an electronic equipment main body and preventing the backup state from being accidentally reset in the ejected state of the battery case. CONSTITUTION:The above backup mechanism is constituted as a mechanism for forcing a prescribed procedure for the replacement of a battery. Namely, even in the loaded state of a RAM card B to the electronic equipment main body A, the ejection of the battery case C is inhibited until power is supplied from the main body A, and in the ejected state of the case C, power supply from the body A to the card B is guaranteed and the accidental ejection of the card B from the body A is inhibited. Consequently, data can surely be prevented from being erased at the time of replacing the battery.</p> |
