<p>An actuator system (31) for controlling engagement and disengagement of an automated vehicular master clutch (C). The system includes an electric motor (86) controlled actuator (62) for precision positioning of the clutch and a pneumatically controlled override actuator (54) for rapidly disengaging the clutch, regardless of positioning of the electric motor-controlled actuator.
