<p>PURPOSE: To provide a luminaire of fine appearance without dropping the sensitivity of its human body sensing part by forming a lens, which leads the incident infrared rays to a human body sensor, in such an arrangement that the cylindrical portion of the lens encloses the sensor over the whole circumference of the base. CONSTITUTION: A lens 3a has a cylindrical portion 3e of such a size as enclosing a human body sensor 3d over the whole circumference of the base 2. The outside diameter of the cylindrical portion 3e is approx. the same as the diameter of the base 2, and the outside surface is finished relatively smooth while the inside is equipped with surface unevenness. Thereby the lens 3a is made unprominent to lead to provision of fine appearance without dropping the sensitivity of the sensor 3d. The sensing area of the sensor 3 can be changed by turning the sensor 3d round the center shaft of the base 2.</p> |
