PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermography element which is improved in more spectral sensitivity by using cyanine pigment to give preservation stability and less pigment stain and efficiently more sensitivity. SOLUTION: A photothermography element contains photosensitive silver halide, organic silver salt such as behenic acid silver and reducer. Cyanine pigment used as more spectral sensitive agent for silver halide contains two thiazole cores, at least one of which is 5,6-dihalobenzothiazole core and each of which is substituted by N-sulfoalkyl group.
