Painting installation and operating process

The painting plant has a supply side part (1) and an operating side part (10). The supply side part is earthed and the operating side part can be alternately earthed and under high voltage. An intermediate reservoir serves as a pressure container. The supply side and operating side parts can be connected and disconnected in terms of flow and electrically by a coupling device (6). The intermediate reservoir is in the operating side part. With this side earthed, it can be filled with paint from the supply side part via the coupling and a gas pressure for supplying the paint can be built up in it.
